The International Betting Integrity Association has confirmed that BetPARX is now a member of its ranks. It aims to avoid and prevent betting integrity compromises.
BetPARX is the 45th of the 120 betting firms in IBIA’s ranks. The association is currently looking to expand its reach in North America.
Licensee in several states of the USA, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan, as well as Maryland, Maryland, Ohio, and Maryland, betPARX stated that it joined the body to preserve the integrity of its operations.
Matthew Cullen is the SVP of Interactive Gaming and Sports for betPARX. He stated: “We are delighted to join IBIA and confirm our commitment to promoting integrity in sports betting. We work with industry leaders to provide a fair and safe betting experience for all.
The IBIA produces an annual report that details the activities it does each year, in addition to its efforts to promote integrity within the global betting industry.
The 2022 report showed that there were 268 suspicious gambling alerts sent to the relevant authorities worldwide. There were also successful sporting or criminal sanctions against 15 officials or players, where IBIA detected suspicious betting activity during their matches.
betPARX was one of many North American operators that joined the IBIA in recent years, along with BetJACK and Be99.
Khalid Ali is the CEO of IBIA. He said: “IBIA’s delight that betPARX chose IBIA to be its preferred monitoring partner. It demonstrates betPARX’s commitment to protecting its products and associated sporting events through the most respected operator-led monitoring body in the world.
“BetPARX is an extremely welcome addition to IBIA. It continues our growth in the rapidly growing North American sports betting market. We look forward to working with betPARX, and to integrating this operator into our global sports betting integrity system.”
