Operators are unveiling their major initiatives in Massachusetts with the launch of Massachusettsonline betting only days away. These deals are aimed at getting brands in front Massachusetts sports fans through team partnerships and media deals.
The BetMGM company plans to achieve this goal through an team deal between the Boston Rex Sox. This is the Red Sox’s first partnership in sports betting. The logo of BetMGM will be featured on the Green Monster, the iconic left field wall.

Before the introduction of sports betting in the Commonwealth, MGM had a relationship with the Red Sox. MGM Springfield negotiated a deal to become its Official Casino Partner in 2019. This agreement is still in effect.
FanDuel will also be able to get its brand in front Red Sox fans through a new dealwith New England Sports Network (NESN). NESN, a regional sports network, covers both the Red Sox as well as the Boston Bruins. signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement that included commercials, live readings in-game, and activations on NESNBets.com.

Online betting will be launched in Massachusetts by operators at 10 a.m. on March 10. BetMGM, FanDuel and the Massachusetts-based Barstool Sportsbookand DraftKings Sportsbooks are just two of seven operators that will launch online betting in the state.
