The International Gaming Standards Association has created a Payments Standards Committee to make gaming customers’ payments safer.
The Committee seeks to “create standards governing online payments” and will evaluate various methods to ensure regulators have clear guidelines on how to protect their jurisdiction from theft and fraud.
Unveiling Payments Standards Committee, IGSA welcomed Aristocrat gaming and AXES.ai to its ranks. They are working together to improve the integrity of gaming’s payment markets.
IGSA serves as a bridge between gaming operators and regulatory bodies. It is open to members from more than 20 countries.
The association’s mission is to develop and create intellectual property in order to “ensure its members have a unique strategic advantage.”
It says that members can benefit from “cross-sectorial visibility, reach, and a facility for access to commercialization channels” through its operations.
“Regulators all around the world are continually asking for guidance about how to create a safer payment landscape for their operators,” said Peter DeRaedt President of IGSA. “This committee will ensure our industry members that we will protect them.
“I am proud of how the Board of Directors has embraced this project so quickly since the arrival of Earle G Hall, our new Chairman. Earle’s goal is to ensure that payments are a source of revenue for the Industry while also protecting regulators and operators by maintaining a high standard. We invite the entire industry to come join us.”
