Affinity Interactive, an Omni-channel gambling company, has agreed to sell the Rail City Casino in Sparks to Truckee Gaming affiliates.
The financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed by Affinity, however it did say that the sale would be completed before the end the year subject to regulatory approvals and satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
Rail City Casino covers approximately 24,000 square feet of gaming space, with more than 400 slot machines, a Keno Lounge and many dining options.
Affinity stated that the sale will enable it to invest in opportunities that are aligned with its core business and growth strategy.
Andrei Scrivens, chief executive of Affinity Interactive, stated that “as part the Affinity Interactive Family, we expanded and enhanced our capabilities, allowing to continually enhance the Rail City Experience for our valued customers, and gaming enthusiasts.”
After the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported last week an 18.0% increase in gambling revenue year-on-year in the US during January with growth across all key markets, the agreement was reached.
The month’s revenue was $1.27bn. This is an increase of $1.08bn in January 2022, but 3.1% less than the $1.31bn in December last year.
