Merkur.com AG, a subsidiary of Gauselmann Group, will be rebranded as Gauselmann AG.
The new name will be effective on 1 January 2024. Ownership structure will not change. The unit was established in 1980 as a holding to provide central services within the Gauselmann Group.
Gauselmann AG has become the latest unit of the group to adopt Merkur as part “brand “harmonisation”. The adp Gauselmann GmbH was renamed adp Merkur GmbH in March 2022.
Merkur.com is the new umbrella name that will be used for all the production and sales channels of the group both in the United States and abroad.
Furthering digitalisation
