Gaming Laboratories International Group (GLI Group) has acquired the outstanding shares of gaming testing laboratory iTech Global.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. However, it was confirmed that iTech Labs would now be a fully owned subsidiary of GLI Australia.
iTech Labs continues to operate its global testing lab network independently, while coordinating with GLI’s sales and back office staff worldwide.
GLI said that iTech Labs customers will be able to take advantage of GLI’s global network of laboratories and its relationships with regulators.
GLI President James Maida stated: “We are happy iTech will remain branded as iTech, and continue to operate the same way they have for the past 19-years.” We are happy that all management, sales and testing teams will continue to be licensed and operate in the jurisdictions where they serve.
iTech Labs’ chief executive Kiren Sreekumar said: “The GLI Group is a company that shares our values, and we are delighted to have made this investment.
“While iTech is proud of its success in the past, we are confident with GLI Group support that iTech will grow and benefit our customers.”
